Kenya Civic Youth Alliance (KCYA) is a youth-led civic organization dedicated to building an informed, engaged, and empowered generation of Kenyan citizens.
KCYA was formed in response to a growing gap between young people and the systems that shape their lives. Despite being the majority of the population, Kenyan youth remain under-represented in governance, policy-making, and accountability processes.
We exist to close this gap by equipping young people with civic knowledge, platforms for participation, and tools to engage constructively with leadership and public institutions.
KCYA is guided by experienced civic leaders committed to youth empowerment, accountability, and democratic participation.
